Welcome to the Office of Academic Program Planning and Development. Our office facilitates university-wide undergraduate and graduate degree program development and refinement in the academic affairs and health sciences divisions. The office assures that new and revised academic programs are in compliance with the rules and regulations of East Carolina University, the University of North Carolina system, our regional accrediting body, and the state legislature. The office also supports curriculum development, produces all versions of the university's undergraduate and graduate catalogs, and approves all text regarding academic degree requirements included in publications. The Office for Faculty Excellence and the NC Early Math Placement Program are located within this office. These two programs support the academic success of both faculty and students.
