ECU, in Greenville, is located in the eastern part of North Carolina. It is about 80 miles east of the state capital of Raleigh, and 80 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean. The Brody School of Medicine is adjacent to University Health Systems of Eastern North Carolina (formerly Pitt County Memorial Hospital). With a population of more than 60,000, Greenville is the business, cultural, educational, and medical hub in eastern North Carolina. The city is accessible by highway and by airports in Greenville, Kinston, New Bern, and Raleigh. Additionally, railway services are available in Wilson and Rocky Mount, about 40 minutes from Greenville..
Undergraduate Admissions Office
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is located in 106 Whichard Building, at the 5th Street entrance to campus. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hours may vary during the summer. Please call ahead for an appointment with a counselor or to schedule a campus tour.

Campus Tours
Tours begin from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in the Whichard Building. Whichard is located at the 5th Street entrance of campus (at the stoplight). Tours are available Monday through Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday tours are only available during our fall and spring open houses.
Please contact the Admissions Office at 252.328.6640 or admis@ecu.edu to schedule your tour. Visitors with confirmed tour appointments two weeks in advance will be mailed a parking pass and directions.

I-95, Exit 119A to 264 East (Go to "A" below)
From the North via I-95
I-95 to Rocky Mount to 64 East to Exit 496 (Hwys 11 & 13 S). Take 11 / 13 S. Turn right on 264 East towards Washington. 264 becomes Greenville Blvd. Turn right on 10th Street (at Hastings Ford). Stay in the right lane and continue on to 5th Street at the fork. Go about one mile. Campus will be on your left.
From the North via 11
11 South to Farmville Blvd. Turn left onto Farmville Blvd. Turn right onto 14th Street. Turn left onto Charles Blvd. (Go to "B" below).
From the South via 11
11 North intersects 264 Alternate. Turn right onto Greenville Blvd. Continue to Charles Blvd. Turn left onto Charles Blvd. (Go to "B" below).

After mile marker 73, you will see a sign for East Carolina University. Continue straight, pass under the overpass with the sign pointing to downtown Greenville. You are on Stantonsburg Road. As you cross Memorial Drive, Stantonsburg Road becomes Farmville Blvd. Continue on Farmville Blvd. Turn right onto 14th Street. Continue to Charles Blvd. Turn left onto Charles Blvd. (Go to "B" below).

From Charles Blvd, which becomes Cotanche Street
Turn right onto Reade Circle. Turn right onto 5th Street. Continue six blocks to the first light. After the first light you will make a left onto Harding Street were our Visitor Parking Lot is located. Whichard Building is located directly across the street.

Our next Open House event will be held Saturday April 12th, 2008.
