Take a look at some of the things our previous guests experienced while visiting ECU for Open House.

At East Carolina University, we know that the best way to learn about us is to visit our campus. And there is no better opportunity than at our annual Fall Open House.

Fall Open House events are open to prospective freshmen, transfers, and adult students. While at the event, attendees will have the opportunity to take a walking tour of campus, visit residence halls, learn about student life, browse the Academic and Student Affairs Fair, and chat with East Carolina faculty members from most academic departments. Special sessions on important topics such as Admission Requirements, Financial Aid, Options for Transfer Students and more are also offered.

Fall Open House Date

Due to the effects of Hurricane Florence, Fall Open House has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 27. If you have already registered for the event, you do not need to re-register for the new date.

Shuttle service to campus will begin on October 27 at 7:30 a.m. and events begin at 8:00 a.m.

You have two options when it comes to planning your day. You can download the free ECU Guides app for your smartphone and select the guide titled “ECU Fall Open House 2018” and/or download the printable PDF guide. Both provide parking information, the day's schedule, and a campus map. There are many concurrent activities and events to choose from, so we recommend using these guides to help plan out your day ahead of time. There will be no printed guides available at the event.

Take advantage of our special lunch rate of $7.50 at Todd Dining Hall and West End Dining Hall from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Click here to pre-purchase tickets. Advance ticket sales will end at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. Please print your receipt directly from the website as proof of purchase.
