Our student-athletes possess and utilize each of these qualities, forming a strong base on which to anchor their personal development. At East Carolina University, we are proud to honor the exceptional achievements of our student-athletes both on and off the field of competition.

It is in this spirit of accomplishment that we honor our student-athletes' academic achievements.

The annual Academic Excellence Awards Banquet honors sophomore, junior, and senior student-athletes who have earned a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average. Each student-athlete who has achieved this goal is honored based on his or her classification at the end of the previous fall semester.
