I began the Coastal Resource Management Program in the fall of 2009. My previous education consisted of a degree in Economics from James Madison University and then a master’s degree in Applied and Resource Economics from East Carolina University. Since joining the program, I have continued my studies in economics and discovered new fields. My main research interests are related to visitor's perceptions of beach armor. Interesting facts about me include: I am a former college cheerleader, I am the secretary of The Coastal Society, and I am the incoming secretary of the Graduate and Professional Student Senate. In my spare time I enjoying playing with my dog and working on the CRM website. I can usually be spotted making posters and skipping through the halls of Flanagan.
