I have always been passionate about wildlife, science, and conservation. Therefore the multidisciplinary and integrative Coastal Resource Management program is perfect for my long term goals and interests. Prior to beginning my doctorate, I worked as a zookeeper, backpacked around Europe, earned my master's degree in biology with a focus on behavioral ecology (also from ECU), and I worked on several research projects on a variety of wildlife including bats, birds, and amphibians. When I'm not working, you can find me running, birding, playing with my dog, reading, or relaxing and having fun with friends and family.
