I’ve been in the CRM Program since Fall semester 2004. My primary track is Maritime Study and I am primarily interested in the protection of submerged cultural resources. I received my Masters Degree in Underwater Archaeology from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, in 2001. I have worked on various underwater sites including medieval bridges, settlements, and boats in Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine. Last summer (2004) I participated in the field school organized by ECU and NOAA at Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, working on late XIX century steamer in Lake Huron. This summer I am going to the Marine Ecology field school in Belize to study coral reefs. Currently, I am exploring different ideas for my dissertation topic and I am getting ready to finish my coursework.
