About Us

The Division of Continuing Studies is the unit within Academic Affairs that administers Distance Education, Summer School, Continuing and Professional Education, Summer Study Abroad and Military Outreach. The unit has been in operation, in one form or another, for more than 60 years.

Continuing Studies is a “service” unit in the sense that we offer support to faculty and administrators interested in any of the areas that we oversee. Continuing Studies can manage your non-credit function, help plan your summer study abroad program and administer your summer school courses. In terms of distance education, Continuing Studies can help you with the paperwork to establish a program, help you market it and, once the program is up and running, serve the students that are enrolled in it.
