The Hearing test can be scheduled at Student Health, through their Rapid Care Nurse, (The cost for the service is $10.00.) Examination results must be on file with DWS prior to the beginning of your open water training (it is your responsibility to get a copy of your completed physical into our office). Be prepared to pay for any and all laboratory work requested by the physician (estimated cost $60). If you prefer, you may have a private physician complete the required forms if they are formular with diving. Once again it is your responsibility to bring a copy of your physical to the Diving and Water Safety Office. Do not assume this will be sent automatically for you.
