You will need:

• Regulator consisting of a 1st stage, primary 2nd stage, octopus, and gauges
• Buoyancy compensator with power inflator
• Mask, fins, snorkel, proper weighting
• Exposure suit suitable for expected conditions
• Dive watch or bottom timer, and dive knife
