Why did you choose to attend East Carolina University?
I have grown up being a pirate and have already been a part of the Brody School of Medicine so it was an easy choice for me. Pirates all the way!
What has your scholarship enabled you to do?
It has helped me get to know people, gain new strengths and work on my weaknesses.
What special undergraduate research opportunities have you experienced at the university?
I have not experienced any yet but I plan to research at Brody, hopefully with Dr. McMillen.
What unique leadership opportunities have you experienced at the university?
I plan to take part in leading a few projects here at ECU to lead us to become a better school and help me become a better leader.
What are your career plans/aspirations?
I plan to become an interventional radiologist.
How have you made a positive impact while you have been at East Carolina University?
I plan to help lead projects for our school to become more energy efficient and show the benefits of alternative resources of energy.
