EC Scholars are provided with the opportunity to engage in undergraduate research, leadership opportunities, community engagement, and a Study Abroad experience. EC Scholars will graduate from East Carolina University and the EC Scholars Program with the confidence, aptitude and competence needed to compete for graduate programs, scholarships, and inspiring careers.

The EC Scholars Program has identified the following initiatives that are offered to all EC Scholars:

Leadership Development: Become a leader who inspires, empowers, and influences positive change.
