    ▪    Institutional history of diversity issues and incidents
    ▪    Centrality of diversity in the mission and planning process
    ▪    Public and constituent perceptions of institution’s commitment to diversity
    ▪    Board engagement with diversity and compositional diversity of board
    ▪    Compositional diversity of faculty, staff and administrators by level

Education and Scholarship
    ▪    Availability: Presence of diversity related courses throughout curriculum and diversity course requirements within the curriculum
    ▪    Learning: Quantity and substance of student learning about diversity; capstones and dissertations about diversity
    ▪    Experience: Course taking patterns of students; research that engages community
    ▪    Faculty Capacity:  Level of faculty expertise on diversity matters

Climate and Intergroup Relations
    ▪    Type and quality of interaction among groups
    ▪    Perceptions of institution (commitment, engagement)
    ▪    Quality of experience/engagement on campus

Access and Success
    ▪    Admission process that reflect rich yields in diversity
    ▪    Undergraduate/graduate population disaggregated by fields and levels
