Equity Education
Educates employees in understanding, responding to, and preventing sexual harassment in the workplace.
Preventing Unlawful Discrimination
Educates employees on how to recognize and avoid discriminatory practices in hiring, firing and other interactions with, and among, employees.
To login to your Learner Portal for Preventing Workplace Harassment and Preventing Unlawful Discrimination, just click the link below to login in and self-register for your courses.

EEO Compliance for EPA Search Committees
EPA Search Committee Training is a Blackboard course for personnel and search committee members or hiring authorities for the EPA hiring process.
The objectives of the EPA search committee training are to:
· provide a general overview of EPA search procedures;
· underscore the role of the search committee in diversifying our faculty;
· illustrate the necessary EEO compliance steps in the People Admin system;
· provide recruitment and outreach strategies
· bring awareness to illegal interview questions.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Institute (EEOI)
A course sponsored by the Office of State Personnel. EEOI Helps managers and supervisors understand important employment discrimination laws and how they impact day-to-day managerial decisions. Case studies and other activities are used to learn how to apply the laws’ principles to create fair, equitable, and inclusive work environments. The skills taught in EEOI enable state government managers and supervisors to address complex diversity issues in a legally compliant manner.
Attending Level I is mandated for all state government managers and supervisors as indicated in G.S. 126.16.1 (PDF) Attending Level II is for executive-level employees only.

Half-day diversity and equity seminars designed to offer faculty and staff in-depth information about equal opportunity, diversity, inclusion and cultural competence.
