ECU, the Community and You . . .

The New Faculty Orientation Blackboard site module on “ECU, the Community, and You” provides links to a wealth of information related to city/county offices as well as educational, social, recreational, and service activities. Among the links, you’ll find information about living and working in Greenville and the surrounding areas--dining, schools, cost of living, climate, cultural activities, healthcare, housing, recreation and parks, banks and other financial institutions, water and electric services, international heritage and diversity programs, ECU theater and sports, and much more!

We hope that you will not only enjoy the diverse opportunities, stimulating colleagues, and capable students that are ECU, but will also find an enjoyable life off campus in this vibrant community!

To find this information, click on this link or on the word Blackboard in the Quick Links box on the ECU homepage. Sign in using your Pirate ID and passphrase or by using "newfaculty" as both ID and passphrase, and then select "New Faculty Orientation" in the My Courses section. Select "Community Resources" in the left column and then click on "ECU, the Community and You." You will see links and subfolders available to browse at your convenience. Welcome to the ECU Community!
