Information Technology and Computing Services (ITCS) is committed to providing excellent information technology infrastructure and services for faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

To help you get started with technology at ECU, be sure to visit the "New to ECU: Faculty & Staff" webpage for important information on technology-enhanced classrooms, ECU network access, university-licensed software, technology training, your networked Piratedrive (for storing files), learning platforms, multimedia resources, the IT Help Desk, and much more.

Communication is the key to success in any endeavor, and we regularly distribute useful technology announcements and updates through a variety of channels, such as:
  • website postings from ITCS Notifications about scheduled system down times and upgrades
  • the ECU Technology Digest, a monthly electronic newsletter announcing new technology services and resources, along with upcoming training opportunities
  • the ECU Learning Technologies Digest, a  monthly electronic newsletter of instructional technology events, updates, tips and hints
