Information Technology and Computing Services (ITCS) is committed to providing excellent information technology infrastructure and services for faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

To help you get started with technology at ECU, be sure to visit the "New to ECU: Faculty & Staff" Web page for important information on technology-enhanced classrooms, ECU network access, university-licensed software, technology training, your networked Piratedrive (for storing files), the university’s high performance computing resources, the IT Help Desk, and much more.

Communication is the key to success in any endeavor, and we regularly distribute useful technology announcements and updates through a variety of channels, such as:
  • e-mail messages from ITCS Notifications
  • the ECU Technology Digest, a weekly blog to which all faculty, staff and students can subscribe
  • the electronic Pirate IT Essentials campus computing newspaper that is your one-stop-shop for everything technology related at ECU
