Non NC State Resident Programs


   

Connecticut: The Connecticut Department of Higher Education provides scholarships and grants to needy and talented residents of Connecticut in pursuit of college. 

   

Delaware: The Delaware Higher Education Office works to ensure that Delawareans have access to state resources for higher education.

   

Florida: The Office of Student Financial Assistance, within the Florida Department of Education, administers a variety of postsecondary educational state-funded grants and scholarships, provides information to students, parents, and high school and post secondary professionals  who are residents of Florida.

 

Georgia: The Georgia student Finance Commission programs include state and lottery funded scholarship, grants and service cancelable loans to Georgians.

 

Maine: The Finance Authority of Maine is committed to promoting access to and completion of postsecondary education by providing free information on planning and paying for college, career preparation and financial education, including responsible borrowing to residents of Maine.

 

Maryland: The mission of the Maryland Higher Education Commission is to ensure that the people of Maryland have access to a high quality, diverse, adequately funded, effectively managed, and capably led system of post secondary education. 

 

Massachusetts: The Massachusetts Department of Higher Education mission is to ensure that Massachusetts residents have the opportunity to benefit from a higher education that enriches their lives and advances their contributions to the civic life, economic development, and social progress of the Commonwealth.

 

New Hampshire: The New Hampshire Post Secondary Education Commission is responsible for administering state aid to residents of New Hampshire.

 

New Jersey: The New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority administers state and scholarship aid to residents of New Jersey.

 

New York: The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation helps make college dreams a reality by assisting students in paying for college.

 

Pennsylvania:  The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency is helping students achieve the dream of a higher education by administering state and scholarship aid to residents of Pennsylvania.

 

Rhode Island: The Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education mission is to provide an excellent, efficient, accessible, and affordable system of higher education designed to improve the overall educational attainment of Rhode Islanders through scholarships and grants.

 

Vermont: The Vermont Student Assistance Corporation goal is to ensure that all Vermonters have the necessary financial information and resources to pursue their education beyond high school.

 

Virginia: The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia mission is to provide an economically sound, vigorous, progressive, and coordinated system of higher education for Virginians. 

 

Washington, DC:  The District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education provides state grants and scholarship to residents.
