Organizational meeting
Present: Boklage, Cope, Henning, Jantzen, Lehman, Martin, Moskop, Rigsby (Faculty Chair), Taggart, Wolfe,
Election of Officers: Charles Boklage, chair; Lida Cope, vice-chair
I-VCRes Lehman congratulated the committee for the excellence of our past work and commented on the importance of the job we do
Prof Rigsby (Fac Chair) offers thanks and encouragement, put no work before us except making awards.
Meeting time discussed: several members have schedule conflicts or difficulties, not all of whom are present. Chair will contact other members and attempt to find a workable compromise.
Subcommittee memberships established:
Our committee sends two people to help decide the Board of Governors Award for Excellence in
Teaching.
This year those are Professors Taggart &
Bello

Our committee sends two people to help decide the Board of Governors Distinguished Teaching Award.
This year those are Profs Gemperline and Jubran.
Both BOG award committees are managed by Prof Dorothy Clayton in the Office of Faculty Development.
She will be in touch with regard to your assignments on those committees.
