Minutes for meeting of 25 February 1999

 

Item 1.     Meeting called to order at 1:30. Minutes of 11 Feb

meeting approved as amended.   John Whitehead moved; Greg

Lapicki seconded. Motion passed.

 

Item 2.     Scott Snyder presented the unbanking and revision of

GEOL 5710/11.  JoAnn Jones moved; Dale Knickerbocker

seconded. The motion passed.

 

Item 3.     The committee considered the change in prerequisites for

RCLS 4240/4242.    Jannis Shea  moved; Chuck Bland

seconded. The motion passed.

 

Item 4.     Ed Lieberman presented new courses NEUR 5000/5001. 

Dale Knickerbocker moved;  Jannis Shea seconded. The motion

passed.

 

Item 5.     Beth Velde presented the Occt. Package. JoAnn Jones

moved; Jannis Shea seconded. The motion passed.

 

Item 6.     The committee considered the banking of CLCS courses. 

Greg Lipicki moved; JoAnn Jones seconded. The motion passed.

 

Item 7.     Linda Wolfe presented the ANTH changes.   Dale

Knickerbocker moved; Jannis Shea seconded. The motion

passed.

 

Item 8.     Dale Knickerbocker presented the foreign language

changes to the gen ed requirements to the K-12 Hispanic Studies

licensure. JoAnn Jones moved; Tom Huener seconded. The

motion passed.

 

Item 9.     Paul Alston presented for REHB to revise the alcohol and

drug minor.  JoAnn Jones moved; Dale Knickerbocker seconded.

The motion passed.

 

The committee considered the change to the prerequisite for

REHB 5796.  Chuck Bland moved and Greg Lapicki seconded. 

The motion passed.

 

Item 10.    The committee considered BSW change of ECON

1000 to 2113. Jo Ann Jones moved; Dale Knickerbocker

seconded. The motion passed.

 

Item 11.    Withdrawn

 

Item 12.    Jannis Shea presented the revision of CDFR. Dale

Knickerbocker moved; JoAnn Jones seconded. The motion

passed.

 

Item 13.    Bill McPherson presented the revision of ITEC

5100. Dale Knickerbocker moved; Tom Huener seconded. The

motion passed.

 

Item 14.    Ed Huechter and Ellen Ray presented the

revisions to the Physician Assistant program. JoAnn Jones

moved; Jannis Shea seconded. The motion passed.

 

Item 15.    Maurice Simon presented the revisions to the BS

in POLS and revise and renumber 4381. Chuck Bland moved;

Linda Wolfe seconded. The motion passed.

 

Item 16.    Deferred until the next meeting.
