· Discussion of alumni awards – news of funding

· Awards ceremony scheduled for April 24, 2007

· Awards ceremony should be in a setting suitable to the importance

· Recommended a program put together similar to the luncheon on the PAD presentation

• Alumni would like to resume funding of Alumni Awards
• Procedures, criteria, and nomination process will not change for these awards
• Discussion of options for making the awards ceremony a regular, permanent fixture by possible combining it with Founder’s Day in future years
• Application Deadline is one month earlier this year – November 1, 2006

• Reconfirmed awards ceremony date to ensure it is a permanent entry in the Chancellor’s calendar for April 24, 2007
• An official vote of thanks to Dr. Boklage for service as Chair to Academic Awards Committee
