ACTIONS OF MEETING

Agenda Item: Formed subcommittees for all awards.

Discussion: Reviewed subcommittee membership, procedures and deadlines.

Action Taken: AAC membership for all subcommittees was completed.

Assigned additional duties to:

Agenda Item: Spring Teaching Awards Ceremony

Discussion: Dorothy announced that the teaching awards ceremony was scheduled for April 28, 2009, and that the entire AAC was encouraged to attend. She also requested the input of the AAC in planning the ceremony.

Agenda Item: 5 year and/or Lifetime Research and Creative Activity Award

Discussion: Rebecca followed up on previous discussion about dual submissions for these awards. It was decided that a person could be nominated for both awards (with two nomination letters and two packets) simultaneously.
