Agenda Item: Subcommittee updates and final reports.

Discussion: Shared information about issues that arose with DVDs/CDs and decided on recommendations for next year to avoid the problems in the future.

Action Taken: Include recommendations as Action Item for next year’s AAC committee.

Agenda Item: Spring Teaching Awards Ceremony

Discussion: Dorothy announced that the teaching awards ceremony was scheduled for April 28, 2009, and that the entire AAC was encouraged to attend. She also requested the input of the AAC in planning the ceremony.

Agenda Item: Lifetime Research and Creative Activity Award

Discussion: Rebecca relayed the conversation she had with VC Dr. Mageean about the Lifetime Award. It was decided that Rebecca would meet with Jan Tovey (Chair of Faculty Senate) to discuss the text of the Faculty Senate Resolution #006-07 and also arrange a meeting so the VC could discuss her ideas with AAC.

Other Discussion: For committee members driving over from West Campus, parking is a big problem.
