Representatives from Music, Economics and Math were available to speak to the following proposals:
MUSC 2207
A motion was made and seconded to grant general education (fine arts) credit for MUSC 2207-Music Appreciation, Online. After discussion, the motion passed.
MUSC 2257
A motion was made and seconded to grant general education (fine arts) credit for MUSC 2257-History of Jazz Music, Online. After discussion, a re-write of the course proposal was requested.
MUSC 3048
A motion was made and seconded to grant general education (fine arts) credit for MUSC 3048-Music for Children with Exceptionalities. After discussion, the motion passed.
ECON 3365
A motion was made and seconded to grant general education (social science) credit for ECON 3365-Russian Economic Transition. After discussion, the motion passed.
MATH 2228
A motion was made and seconded to grant general education (math) credit for MATH 2228-Elementary Statistical Methods I. After discussion, the motion passed.
MATH 2283
A motion was made and seconded to grant general education (math) credit for MATH 2283-Statistics for Business. After discussion, the motion passed.
Peer Review Instrument
Amendments to the Peer Review Instrument were presented, with representatives on hand to speak to the proposal. A motion was made and seconded to approve sending the amendments forward to Faculty Senate. After discussion, the motion passed.
