ECU Faculty,
The
Committee on Committees and
Members

rather than as representatives of their electoral
unit. If your membership term is expiring in Spring 2012 or if you are not currently on a University
committee or council and wish to serve, please review the below information and
consider service on one of the many committees or Graduate Council.

The appellate
committees provide a forum for faculty member appeals regarding employment.
These committees are essential to shared governance. It is desirable to have representatives from
a broad spectrum of the academic community.
Please consider carefully the responsibility of service on these
appellate committees since your service when participating in a hearing will be
as a representative of the University.
