The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm.
Regular members Henry Ferrell (History), Ralph Scott (Academic Library Services), Michelle Eble (English), Elizabeth Hodge (Education), and William “Toby” Allen (Chemistry) were present.
Mark Taggart (Chair of the Faculty) and Lori Lee were also present.
ACTIONS TAKEN:
1. The Committee put forth the following slate of nominees for UNC Faculty Assembly delegate positions:
Andrew Morehead (Chemistry)
Catherine Rigsby (Geology)
Ralph Scott (Academic Library Services)
Ed Seidel (Medicine)
Linda Wolfe (Anthropology)
2. The Committee briefly revisited a matter from the Oct. 24 meeting relating to the EPPC.
3. At the suggestion of Prof. Taggart, the Committee encourages all faculty to recommend dedicated, experienced, and impartial individuals to serve on Appellate Committees.
