ACTIONS OF MEETING

Agenda Item: The minutes of the 09/26/2007 meeting were approved, as amended.

Agenda Item: Chair Martinez informed the committee about her presentation of the draft Faculty Evaluation of Administrators document to the Faculty Senate yesterday. The Faculty Senate passed a resolution asking the committee to send the final revised document (with the minor revisions that Professor Martinez told them would be included), along with a statement of principles used to construct the document (as present by Martinez in her report to the Senate) to the Task Force on Administrator Evaluations and to the Chancellor so that the committee’s work could be considered before the Task Force prepares a final recommendation.

Agenda Item: The committee discussed the input it received from the 3 open forums held last month and incorporated that input a final document detailing faculty input into administrator evaluations.

Once the changes were complete, the committee voted to approve the document. This final document will be sent to the Chancellor and to the Task Force on Administrator Evaluations.

NEXT MEETING: October 24, 2007. The scheduled Secretary Pro Tem for the October 24 meeting is John Cope.
