DISCUSSION

Library faculty forum tentatively scheduled for February.  Spencer not available first week of February, Boyer not available second week of February. Boyer requested a projector for the presentation.  Committee agreed that a room in Mendenhall would be a good option.  Plan is for Boyer to present a brief presentation followed by open discussion.  Committee agreed that we should keep the presentation simple.  Valentine will talk with Spencer to determine if a) Joyner and Laupus will have faculty forums at the same time or b) the libraries will have meetings at both locations.  Committee felt that we should have meetings at both locations.

From the senate: Want to improve relationships between faculty senators, committee members, and the chancellor’s office in a social context, budget pending.  Committee agreed that relationship building between faculty and the Chancellor’s office is a good idea.

Meeting adjourned at 3:50
