Reports Heard:
Terry Holland
- Suggested UAC meet at
stadium next meeting so we can see what is happening with stadium
expansion.
- Have leased space at
Courtside for tennis team to have indoor practice facilities.
- Basketball fundraising
ongoing to build practice facilities. Site selection process continues. In
the meantime, have leased regulation court at North Campus Crossing for use
when necessary due to competition for space.
Nick Floyd:
- Football season off to
a great start. All ECU sports programs are well positioned at this time
and beyond, financially and otherwise.
- Broke football season
ticket sales again this year (by over 1,000), despite all the challenges
we face this year, e.g. new coach, poor economy, loss of core of team.
- Still deciding what do
with benches/seats.
Mike Felts:
- Academic integrity issues related to
particular student athletes (carrying over from last year) will be
addressed after October UAC meeting during Academic Integrity Subcommittee

resignation of said coach, in light of the “secondary violations.”

1-on-1 meeting between faculty and student athlete, and the understanding

as-needed basis. Extensive discussion followed.
