Presentation by Ms. Gonsalves
Discussion:
Ms. Gonsalves informed the committee of the Scholarship of Engagement, the
funding status of this area within ECU, and identified how other universities
were funding and rewarding faculty in this area. Dr. Scott encouraged Ms. Gonsalves to provide
the committee with her budgetary needs so that a

for presenting the funding status of her programs.

Resolutions on Funding the Scholarship of Engagement and Transparency
of the so-called “BD-119”
Discussion:
Dr. Scott suggested that the committee consider
forwarding a resolution to the
Action Taken:
Dr. Scott was tasked with writing the initial drafts
of these resolutions and providing these to the committee for discussion and
revision.
