2. Call to order: Meeting was called to order at 3:35 in Rawl 106

3. Approval of Minutes: David Weismiller moved, and Andrew Morehead seconded the approval of the minutes of August 27, 2007. Passed unanimously.

4. Review of Code of the College of Nursing—Dr. Conner step aside, Dr. Andrew Morehead chaired the meeting during consideration of the Code of the College of Nursing.

No substantive changes, editorial changes to the code in these areas:

Change font to be consistent throughout, for example lines 225, 246, 295, p. 14, 591, 592, 597, 627

Check formatting (justification) lines 264, 273, 311, 314, 315

Moved by David Weismiller and seconded by Carl Swanson that the unit code of the College of Nursing be approved. Passed unanimously.

5. Review of the Code of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Dr. Conner resumed chair.

No substantive changes, editorial changes to the code in these areas:

Check formatting regarding number of lines between sections.

Be consistent regarding capitalization of first letter for chancellor, vice chancellor, provost when the term is not followed by the name of the person serving in the position.

p. 2, line 45 change to “subject to the Personnel Act (SPA) employees”

line 41 remove reference to sections B, F

p. 3, line 19 remove reference to section B

line 46 remove SACS

p. 6, line 36 remove reference to II

p. 7, line 7 remove reference to C

p 8, line 35 change phrase to read “Procedures for Review of All Major Planning Documents”

Moved by Andrew Morehead and seconded Charles Coddington that the Unit Code of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics be approved. Passed unanimously.
