Description of Action:
Item: Dr. Erica Lindelman from UNC-CH Writing Center was 
welcomed.  Members are invited to her presentation today at 
3:30.  

Description of Action:
Item:  Dr. Reaves was congratulated on her appointment.  
Her many contributions to this committee were noted.

Description of Action:
Item:  Approval of January 27, 2000 minutes.
The motion carried and the minutes were approved.

Description of Action:  
Item:  WAC Directors Report
R. Reaves reported there are three courses for committee 
review.  It was requested that the committee members 
review the proposals and communicate any concerns to R. 
Reaves at reavesr@mail.ecu.edu.  A vote via email 
(reavesr@mail.ecu.edu) is requested by Thursday, March 2, 
2000.  Further discussion focused on the possibility of 
changing the function of the writing center with expansion 
across the curriculum.
