Instead, I reject Resolution 08-12 and ask the Faculty Governance Committee (1) to reconsider both clarifying and minimizing the duplication of language primarily related to the process of fixed-term appointments, (2) to be consistent with recent contract letter revisions, and (3) to incorporate or reference professional conduct as a criterion for faculty performance.
