Actions Taken:

Motion: To request that the committee charge be revised to

reflect the following membership changes:

"The membership of the committee shall be as follows: 9 from the

College of Arts and Sciences, with at least two from each from

Humanities, Social Sciences and the Sciences/Math, and 9 from the

Professional Schools and other academic units. with no more than

2 from any professional school "

Passed.

Motion: To approve alterations in the grant proposal form as

attached.

Passed.

The committee remanded to Dr.'s Stanforth and Rigsby the task of

designing the form to be used to solicit the ad hoc review of

each grant proposal.
