Agenda Item: Teaching Grant Proposal Review

Discussion:  Chairman Williams reviewed scoring criteria and results of data analysis.  The score spreadsheet was not complete as Williams was still waiting on scores from some committee members.  Committee members briefly discussed general issues of applicant anonymity; eligibility of previous year recipients; and posting sample proposals.  Chairman Williams suggested that these issues be reviewed by the committee during the final meeting and new recommendations be put forth for subsequent years. 

Action Taken: The committee began reviewing teaching grant proposals.  Seven of the 22 total proposals were discussed by the committee.  Chairman Blaise suggested that committee members provide individual updated scores upon completion of group discussions.
