Congratulations on your acceptance to ECU! You will find that ECU is a warm and friendly campus with faculty and staff who are anxious to assist you in achieving your academic goals. We have prepared an orientation program to assist you with the transition to the ECU community. You will have the opportunity to meet with an advisor, attend academic sessions, take placement tests, and register for your classes.

The New Student Orientation Program is designed to:
  • Academically prepare you for the fall semester through placement testing, meeting with an advisor, and registering for fall classes.
  • Make you aware of important academic rules and regulations.
  • Introduce student life and involvement.
  • Provide a taste of what college life at ECU is like.
  • Help you to learn your way around campus.
  • Let you meet your fellow Pirates!
Registration for New Student Orientation for summer 2013 is now available.
Note: Registration for Session 1 (June 12-13), Session 2 (June 17-18), Session 3 (June 24-25), and Session 4 (June 26-27) is now closed. Students will need to choose a different session.
