New Student Summer Orientation 2012

The Office of Student Transitions and First Year Programs provides programs and services to ease new students in their transition to East Carolina University, and New Student Orientation is one program we offer.  It will help you get started on the right foot as you begin at East Carolina by giving you tools for academic success, helping you feel comfortable in the college environment, and assisting you through the class registration process.

Summer Dates
(for students admitted as freshmen for the Fall semester)

• June 11-12 Orientation Session 1 (closed)
  
• June 13-14 Orientation Session 2 (closed)
  
• June 18-19 Orientation Session 3 (closed)
  
• June 25-26 Orientation Session 4 (closed)
  
• June 27-28 Orientation Session 5
  
• July 2-3 Orientation Session 6
  
• July 9-10 Orientation Session 7
  
• July 11-12 Orientation Session 8

Transfer/Summer School Orientation
(for students admitted as transfer students or as freshmen for the summer terms)

• May 11 (Summer Session I) - Note: Move-in day for students staying in a residence hall during Summer Session I will be Sunday, May 13. Students attending orientation will NOT be able to move in early.
