ECU Graduate Assistantships

 

 

  • ECU providess more than $9.5 million in direct support to over 1,000 graduate
    students per year


  • Full-time and part-time graduate assistantships are available in most of ECU's graduate programs (master's and doctoral)

  • Contact your Graduate Program Director for information about the availability of assistantships in your program of study

  • Types of assistantships
    • - Graduate teaching assistantships
      - Graduate research assistantships
      - Graduate administrative assistantships

     

    • The average full-time master's assistantship is $10,800 (20 hours per week,
      fall + spring terms) plus tuition and health insurance

    • The average full-time PhD assistantship is $22,000 (20 hours per week,
      fall + spring terms) plus tuition and health insurance


    • Many programs provide additional support during the summer
