Graduate Scholar Award

 

Graduate Scholar awards are available to highly qualified students applying to master'sprograms for fall semester enrollment.  Students selected for this award receive $4,000 towards tuition/fees per year for a maximum of two years in addition to a full-time
graduate assistantship.  In order to be eligible to apply, a student must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3 and a minimum average GRE verbal + quantitative score of
52 percentile or GMAT or MAT of comparable percentile rank.  Doctoral students are not eligible and currently enrolled students are not eligible.

  Graduate program directors apply on behalf of prospective students and notify prospective students at the time an offer of admission is made.  Students must notify the program director of their decision to accept or reject the offer of admission
and the Graduate Scholar Award in writing (email will suffice) by April 15.

 


Doctoral Student Tuition and Health Insurance

 

All doctoral students receiving a full-time graduate assistantship are eligible to receive health insurance and a tuition remission up to the cost of 9+ credits per term at the on-campus rate for fall and spring terms.  Contact the graduate program director in your intended program of study for more information 



Out-of-State Tuition Remissions


There are a limited number of out-of-state tuition remissions which cover the out-of-state portion of the student's tuition.  The remissions are highly competitive and each student is awarded the remission via by their respective graduate program.  The minimum criteria for eligibility are a 3.0 overall GPA or a 3.0 senior year GPA, and an acceptable score on the standardized exam (ex. GRE (V,Q,A) 1000, MAT 50, or GMAT 500).  The prospective student is strongly advised to apply to their graduate program as early as possible in order to be considered for these awards.  Please contact the graduate program director for more information.
