Sherri Jones

The youngest of seven kids in small town Nebraska, Sherri Jones arrived at ECU as a scientist and clinician trained in hearing science and audiology. Having completed her graduate work at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, Jones brought her intense research interests with her to Greenville: auditory and vestibular physiology, genetics of vestibular dysfunction, and auditory and vestibular aging. At ECU, she works on her basic research in her laboratory and sees patients at the ECU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic.

Ellen Crowell
College of Allied Health Sciences

A Salisbury, North Carolina native and the youngest of three girls, Ellen Crowell began her ECU graduate studies in the fall of 2008.  Having graduated from North Carolina State University in the spring of 2008 with a double major in communication disorders and sociology, Crowell decided to attend ECU for the dual AuD and PhD program within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
