The Student Employment Office maintains an online job database, to help ECU students connect with part-time job opportunities, both on and off campus. To apply for these jobs must be a current ECU student with a valid Banner ID.

All ECU student employees are required to complete Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification and provide valid employment verification documents on or before their first day of work. Examples of the most commonly used documents are drivers license, social security card, and/or passport. Failure to provide this documentation in a timely manner will delay the student's payroll process.

How to Search for Jobs?

    1. Under Student Employment choose Search Jobs. You will be redirected to ECU's People Admin.
    3. On the left hand side select Search Postings.
    5. Under position type select All Students.
    7. Under job category, select the type of job you are looking for such as Self Help Campus Job, FWS On-Campus, FWS Community Service, Part-Time Jobs Off Campus, Graduate Assistant, or Undergraduate Assistant

Searching for a Federal Work Study(FWS) Job? Only students who have been awarded FWS as part of their financial aid award are eligible to apply for FWS jobs.  Both on campus and off campus non-profit community positions are available.


Searching for a Self-Help Campus Job? If you do not qualify for Federal Work Study, you should select "student self-help campus job".  This job category does not require financial aid.  The Student Employment Office posts job opportunities daily.


Searching for a Part-Time Off Campus Job? Anyone can apply for these jobs.  You should select "student part-time jobs (off campus)" to view these jobs.
