The Honors College prides itself on partnering with honors programs around the region to expand opportunities in Honors education. These partnerships provide students chances to compete in research among the best in the region, and to also make connections with those students.
NCHC: The National Collegiate Honors Council is a professional organization that serves undergraduate honors programs and colleges. NCHC assists institutions in developing, implementing, and expanding honors education through program assessment, curriculum development, teaching innovation, study abroad opportunities, internships, mentored research, and service and leadership development.
SRHC: The Southern Regional Honors Council is an association that promotes the advancement of honors programs and colleges in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The council provides networking opportunities and regional connections for honors students and faculty members alike through an annual conference. SRHC is associated with the National Collegiate Honors Council.
NCHA: The North Carolina Honors Association is a professional affiliation for honors programs and colleges in North Carolina. It is closely associated with the Southern Regional Honors Council and the National Collegiate Honors Council. The mission of NCHA is to improve the quality of Honors programs, provide students with greater opportunities, and encourage collaborative programming between Honors programs.
