ECU and community partners are set to celebrate the 2018 Chinese New Year on Sunday, February 11. The celebration will begin with a stage show featuring traditional dances and artistry in ECU's Wright Auditorium at 3:30 pm. The stage show is free and open to the public. A buffet dinner will follow at ECU's West End Dining Hall at 6:00 pm. The buffet will include traditional Chinese New Year dishes to the dining hall's regular menu. Tickets for the buffet dinner can be purchased at the door: $8.25+ tax for adults, $5 for children 5-12 years old, and free for children under 5 years old.
ECU Chancellor Cecil P. Staton has been appointed to the NAFSA: Association of International Education's board of directors, where he will help oversee the strategic directions of the association.
