International Opportunity Ideas

As a club, Brody Rotaract supports and encourages our members to travel abroad and enrich their education through life experience. Mostly, Rotaract works with M1 students who want to travel abroad during the summer between their first and second year in medical school. These experiences are NOT sanctioned by Brody School of Medicine or East Carolina University and the students who travel do not receive credit for their travel and rotations abroad. Experiences taken on during the M1-M2 summer are chosen by the students and they may choose to go on whatever they find to be worthwhile. The student travels individually and will not be affiliated with East Carolina University or Brody School of Medicine. Many of our past participants have traveled with different programs and universities that they found to be good learning experiences. Below are listed some of the programs and organizations that some of our members have worked with in the past (and there’s more out there!)
