Exchange Applications

Thank you for your interest in East Carolina University’s exchange program!  Once you have chosen a program and discussed it with your academic advisor, you should complete the appropriate application and return it to the Office of International Affairs by the deadline.  

The following guidelines are intended to assist you in the completion of your application. In order to be considered for an exchange, you will need to submit various documents to the Assistant Director for Study Abroad at ECU. Application materials may be downloaded below. Please complete and submit these materials according to application deadlines.

CONTENTS OF A COMPLETE APPLICATION

• Application
• Study Plan Forms
• Academic Reference Forms (2)
• Language Proficiency Report for the Language of Instruction (if applicable)
• Statement of Purpose both in English and the Language of Instruction (if applicable)
• Official transcript of all the courses that you have taken at the university level (including past colleges/universities)
• Application Fee
