About the Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE)

The Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE) is taken by students during the summer before their freshman year. The tool is used to assess entering college student's expectations.  Questions focus on academic and co-curricular programs and activities.  Comparing NSSE and BCSSE results can compare initial expectations with freshmen in their second semester and seniors in their last semester.
