Support Assessment Units
Support assessment units are non-academic units on campus with unique functions and include Academic and Student Support Services, Administrative Support Services, Research, and Public Service units. These units are assessing administrative outcomes and student learning outcomes when appropriate. All support units should have a minimum of three outcomes that they are currently assessing. Please note that if you are designated as both a research and public service assessment unit, you should have at least 2 outcomes for each plan.
Assessment Cycle: Each unit on campus should report annual assessment results, actions taken, and follow-up to actions taken by August 1, 2013.
Results - summary of the findings of the data collected through your "Means of Assessment." The results should clearly indicate whether your criterion for success was met.
Actions Taken (use of results) - summary of what was done (past tense) based on the "Results" to improve the outcomes.
Follow-up to Actions Taken - summary of the results of "Actions Taken" from the previous year.
