ECU Faculty Salary Reports

The ECU Faculty Salary Report includes a listing of full-time faculty salaries by academic unit, a listing of full-time faculty members whose salaries vary from the ECU average for their reference group by more than one standard deviation, a mean salary comparison by CIP code based on College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) Faculty Salary Survey data, and a comparison of college and department salary data to the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) salary data.

The Faculty Salary Reports are compiled from the official Fall 2009 Personnel Data File. Included faculty were full-time (FTE=1.00) in the Fall semester 2009 each fall, dedicating at least 50% of their time to instruction. Not included are faculty in the School of Medicine. All salaries were converted to nine month equivalents using the 9/11th convention. This conversion facilitates comparisons among ECU colleges as well as to externally published surveys.
