The ECU Veterans' Society is a social organization for veterans of all branches of military service, their reserve components, the National Guard and active duty service members who are students, faculty or staff at East Carolina University.

Our purpose is to provide comradery and fellowship of veterans and actively serving military members.

We will do this by conducting monthly meetings and social activities. We intend to assist veterans in their transition to an academic environment and further assist in their transition to a civilian career by maintaining close ties with our veteran alumni. We will also promote the good conduct, character and work ethic that a veteran brings from military service to civilian life through leadership by example.

The ECU Veterans' Society meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 1600 to 1700 in the Bate Building room 1009. There is no cost to join. We welcome all faculty, staff and students who have served or are currently serving in our Armed Forces.
