The Military Programs Office (MPO) is the service members contact point for issues dealing with bringing East Carolina University (ECU) educational offerings to North Carolina based military students.  The MPO works within ECU’s office of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Outreach and assists military students with course offering questions, tuition problems, residency concerns, as well as special issues that can occur due to military deployments. The MPO oversees the Air Force and Army ROTC programs at ECU and can assist prospective cadets as well as enlisted service members who are interested in returning to college to complete college and receive officer commissions.  ECU currently staffs an external office on Fort Bragg which supports the military and dependents of that base. ECU’s MPO is a member of the state Military Education Advisory Committee, an organization that addresses military educational opportunities and issues across all state universities.
