Mission

ECU’s Office of Military Programs functions as the university’s outreach to the educational needs of the military and family members assigned to eastern North Carolina. The office serves as a point of contact for former or current military personnel who are actively enrolled in university programs. ECU features both Air Force and Army ROTC programs that enable students to work toward a commission in the United States military. The Military Programs Office caters to students interested in ROTC, students returning to school on military funded degree completion programs, students seeking nursing training or students participating in advanced civil schooling. The office also works with university departments and colleges to explore military related opportunities for grants or research.

ECU’s Military Programs Office is an entity under the Associate Vice-Chancellor for Academic Outreach.
